It’s the perfect combination of low noise levels and high rates of extraction. This Simply Silent shower fan has been purposely designed for installation above a shower. They provide direct extraction at the point of highest humidity for a steam-free bathroom.
This 4″ 100mm extract fan comes complete with a beautiful round fascia, designed to blend subtly with your bathroom ceiling and operated by a switch or remote sensor.
The greater part of noise created by an extractor fan is usually the motor or, believe it or not, the movement of air through it. Xpelair has created Ghost Air Movement Technology to tackle this. They are made from the precision engineered parts coupled with a silent motor to make sure you don’t disturb the rest of the house while showering.
Also featured is an integral timer which can be adjusted at installation from 30 seconds to 30 minutes depending on how misty your bathroom gets.
Supplied with a ceiling fitting kit which includes 3 metres of flexible ducting and white grille to be fitted externally.

Timer controlled
Extractor fans with a built-in timer control means that the fan will operate with the bathroom light switch and then overrun for a set amount of time to continue removing moisture from the air. This is great for steamy bathrooms, allowing you to turn the light off but continue with extraction for a short time. Recessed Design

Axial type fans cause gas to flow through in an axial direction which is parallel to the shaft where the blades rotate, making the flow axial at exit and entry. Axial fans are designed to create a pressure difference and force which produces a flow through the fan. IPX4 Rating
This product has a rating of IPX4 which means it is protected from water splashes from any angle.
Zone 1 Rated
IP rating stands for ‘Ingress Protection rating’ and this helps us determine what bathroom electricals can go in particular bathroom zones. An IP (Ingress Protection) number or code is used here in the UK to specify the environmental protection of enclosures around electronic equipment. These ratings are determined by specific tests.
